I know theres always going to be projects and players that will only be a role player for their senior year. But I just hope we wait till later when we know what we've got, to start giving scholys to a project type player. I love the commit but I wish we knew more about this guy.

Well 24/7 had him ranked the #79 overall player 9 months ago in the 2014 class.

The Nation's No. 79 ranked prospect in the class of 2014, Lawrence Lee, says he would like to pick up an offer from Wisconsin.

So something must have happened.

His hudl highlights say his 40 is 4.45. Makes more sense, he looks pretty fast in his film.

His high school is right down the road from me so I'll get to see him play come fall. Haven't heard any hype around him honestly though

Not trying to act like a coach, just stating my opinion on a message board.

Well upon further investigation just off of his 24/7 page, it looks like he was highly rated then dropped, so I wouldn't call it a waste of scholarship yet, we have done far worse.

Don't like the fact he's dropped off but makes me feel a little better that he was at least a top 100 player previously. Plenty of time and a full season of HS football to up his ranking and prove its a good pickup.

JR stats
51 receptions/ 1011 yards/ 12 TDs
500 rushing yards 5 TDs

So Stats
37 Receptions 1151 yards 17 Tds

So what is the fall in ranking from ??? I get that rankings are fluid due to the age of the players but that's a pretty big drop.

Kid has some speed and some wiggle. Coaches must have seen something they really like in him. Welcome to Big Orange Country Mr. Lee!
