not as a true wide receiver but as someone who would return kicks, play RB, and spend some time in the slot. He reminds me of a faster Pig Howard.

I love Vic Wharton! no homo. he is one of my favorite recruits coming in! I think he will score many points at Tennessee!

I think Autry will be a better player than Vic when its all said and done. Alot of the stuff Vic does in his kick return film he wont be able to get away with in the sec.

Yep. He fumbled 3 times in 1 game (on like 6 touches). He runs with the ball away from his body.

Vic will end up being the better player. There is a reason Autry's rankings dropped this year. He is no longer a take for most of the teams that have offered and thats why he is likely to end up a GA Tech where they dont throw the ball much.

He had a great junior year till he tore his ACL. He did have 3 fumbles in his first game back against the #1. team in the nation. Where everyone on his team played bad. If you watched the Georgia 5A championship this year you saw his talent.

I know Vic is a great player, but I think Aurty has a higher ceiling when healthy.

I went through and watched all out recruits highlights and vics are the best IMO. Underrated and could play D, O, and teams.

He will end up at a better school than GT, most likely.

I saw game 1 this yr and I saw the state title game. Game 1 was bad but He looked night and day diff in the title game. Not sure where he ends up but he was playing great ball at the end of the year.

Big fans of Wharton. But as a previous poster stated, he will not be able to reverse field five times on a punt return against SEC defenders.

Tyrann Mathieu got away with stuff like that despite having less than elite measurables. I'm not trying to compare Vic to him: I'm just saying it is possible.

However, it takes absolutely elite instincts and awareness as a return man. I swear Mathieu had a spider sense as a return man.
