How is it that you are a UT and OK fan? As you can see, I am in the same situation. I am originally from Sooner country but have lived in Vol territory since 96.

I may be flamed for this but when I was younger, I liked watching Oklahoma as well as the Vols. I just kinda grew into them and when Adrian Peterson was a Freshman, he was my hero. So, I've just kinda followed them, they are definitely my number two though haha. So, I can't root for them this year against us.

Wait? I can be a fan of 2 teams? Why though?

Per a poster on VQ.

"My client whose son plays football at Milton in Alpharetta was in the office today. Said he spoke to Treyvon recently and that he is ahead of schedule on the knee (not cutting hard on it yet). Said that Paulk benches over 400 lbs and will be a workhorse if he can get his knee back in good shape. Also said that he is trying to get his weight down to 195 (currently a little over 200)."

Love hearing that. I am really pulling for this kid to do well.

Gonna be a hoss for us....can take his time and strengthen under Lawson....by his redshirt sophomore year I envision Travis Stephens type production.

Saw this thread pop up.. Scared to open it for bad news.

I got a question though. With us signing 3 very talented back. Why do we continue to recruit RBs?

Because at some point, those 3 just signed will leave and you need players coming in behind them. I think the staff will take 1 RB in 2015. Not sure he will be a 4* 8 SEC offer type RB or not, but they will sign 1 IMO.

I would honestly not be shocked if they took Vaughn or Bruce and moved on to focusing on other positions. RB is just not a priority in 2015.

I'm curious what happens with Beck and Pickett at RB. Both are walk-ons currently I believe. Will they be looking for a scholarship anytime soon?

My theory is Hurd plays most of the year Scott may see some touches and Paulk medically redshirts this year and sits out next. Hurd leaves after 3 years Scott starts year 4 than Paulk year 5.

So, In theory we may not need a 5* back but we sure are offering a lot of them

I think Pickett will be moved after spring along with beck. We have Lane, Young, Hurd,Scott, Paulk. Summer hill is in there somewhere. Another ? Would be if young goes back to WR because of pig

If the coaches did not offer the best of the best, they would not be doing their job. Now an offer does not mean a top rated RB will want to follow the (3) RB class UT got last cycle. A lot of schools could use it as a negative I'm sure. I have a hard time seeing Paulk sitting for the next 2 years. He may very well be the strongest RB on the roster this year. If he is knee is cleared to go, I think he plays very early on.
