'14 GA RB Treyvon Paulk (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Probably, regardless real excited about all our incoming backs. They all bring something a little different, but all have great speed and receiving abilities.

Go look at the pic posted in the jalen Hurd thread. How the hell is that lanky? Dude looks buff as hell!

Serious on the first part, kinda on the second, Hurd doesn't have the muscle bulk right now to survive in the SEC, his shoulder will constantly be an issue IMO, and IMO if we were all realistic he would redshirt and add the size that will be crucial for him to be truly successful

Hurd is not redshirting. He has 6to months to add a little muscle but he is SEC size already. Gotta be a joke

My apologies....I guess I'm not perfect :mf_surrender:

You had good intentions. At least you stuck around to clean up your mess. Many posters that step in it run off with the crap still on them. Well done. :good!:

Hurd is cut. All of his rehab after surgery has been to got the shoulder 100% before spring practice as well as to continue to build muscle. He's good to go.

It was too specific on the bullet points that get a reaction regarding Jalen. The only thing he didn't suggest was a position change, for a few more howls...unless he's been studying polar bears these last few months,he got the reaction he was after.

Barton Simmons

“I think everyone was talking about Jalen Hurd and Derrell Scott, and for good reason. Those guys are elite type of players that will certainly be able to get in there in fall camp and really push whoever’s in front of them and push for legitimate starting opportunities,” Simmons said

“But the forgotten man, Treyvon Paulk, is, to me, going to be a really special back, too. I mean, his film, I’ve been a big fan of that. Coming into the 2014 recruiting cycle, Paulk was a kid that I thought whoever got him was going to get a good one. “For him to be kind of the third back in that trio says a lot about the level of players they’re bringing in.”

how is a number "terrible" for a position? a number is a number... it has ZERO to do with anything at all.. I don't understand the fascination with who wears what numbers.

Most players are superstitious or get attached to their number they have had growing up and do not want to change. Others think a number is Jinxed because of past players that were busts. All boils down to a bud light commercial, its only crazy if it doesn't work.

Yeah, I'm superstitious. Definitely not because of the bud light commercial.

It has everything to do with on-field performance. I can't trust Hurd anymore...unless he grows a mustache. Only then...

Watched his film again and I'd love to see him at 190lbs. I think it'll bring the best out of him. He'll still be as strong but he'll be much more explosive as a natural athlete on the field. Still extremely excited to have this young man in this class.
