'14 IL LB Clifton Garrett

Thig is all over this one like white on rice.

He better get a raise after this year because he has earned it and will continue to do so.

not to mention one of the top DB classes to add to Cam that
will be suiting up for us next few years...

Don't forget Lemond Johnson he is an incredible athlete that will start contributing next season. This guy just needs a year in the defense and weight room but he's going to be a baller.

He's already playing on special teams. I have noticed his name listed in the Participation Report for most games. I take it as positive sign that he is good enough to contribute on special teams right away.

Don't get your hopes up with Mr. Garrett. He'll still be a Tiger in the end. C.G.= LSU.

Fulmer was a great recruiter but he had little to do with the development of 2 and 3 star players. You can thank Chief and Cut for that. When Cut wasn't coaching for him, he was mediocre at best (and worse than mediocre a couple of years).

That was my sentiment for years. Fulmer with Cut and Chavis was a great tandem. When Cut wasn't here the offense always seemed to be in flux.

Other than an inferiority complex... what makes you say that.

FTR, if I were in his shoes... I would not want to play for LSU right now if I had other options. I know there are many folks here who think Chavis is some kind of defensive guru... I don't and never have. I frankly would not want to play for him.

Do you understand how many players he has put in the NFL? Chavis, who has his faults at times with play calling IMO, is still amazing at developing talent.
