'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

I'm going by what Lambert told the coaches and assuming the kid will honor his word.

The four bricks comment and the fact he has been committed so long make me think he ends up a Vol just mulling over his options at this point and possibly building suspense.

Lol at creepy Sab acting like he has sources he's hearing from. Dude is reading VN like the rest of us

What baffles me is the nimrods that give him street cred. All they have to do is join any one of the paid sites or even this one to find out where he is getting his information.

This thread is the best entertainment I have had in a few days.

"Well I think he is all Vol."

"I got a hunch he's in the barn."

"So and so said he was leaning this way"

"But this site said he's going this way."

This is awesome stuff. I have seen a ton of opinions but not much based on anything but speculation. I am guilty of work reduction today...gotta be honest. But this is too good not to keep up with. At the end of the day, I hope he's a Vol...but if not...I trust the CBJ will have someone to fill his spot.

@Sabanocchio: Not so confident in Lambert now. Hearing mixed things.

Is this guy reliable at all?

247 is a joke. They sure love to create drama. I've never seen Scout or Rivals act like this when it comes to players' recruitments. These experts they have over there act like little kids who jump on every single rumor.

The way I see it is this kid is Auburn bound in the end though. When it comes to a recruitment turning into a complete circus Auburn is almost always involved in it. If you look at their past history, they always land players who allow their recruitment to play out like this.

Garner was seen leaving Title Max this morning and getting into a taxi. You can follow the taxi @ TaxiAware.com. Last seen headed to Lsmberts house. TIFWIW

Almost forgot the taxi ID is barnsucks

Couple of Barners on the college football subreddit.....take it for what it's worth.

"Rhett Lashlee tweeted about a good surprise that definitely wasn't D'Haquille Williams (hasn't turned in HIS LOI yet; fearing a coup by LSU), so I'm thinking that means we snag Lambert or some previously unexpected signee."

"SECRant has a couple twitters confirming it was Lambert."

Paul just said nothing would surprise him with how this plays out, so I doubt Tennessee has a signed LOI from him at this point. He's basically saying what we all know, this recruitment has turned into another circus where Auburn is involved so who knows what will happen in the end. I think the writing is on the wall with this one. Garner, Auburn...their past history of cheating.. you come to your own conclusion...

Hate to be the idiot in the room but I'm confused! Is this good news for us or are they sayin he's in the barn????😒

I keep hearing that "cheaters never win" but for some reason that doesn't seem to apply to Auburn.

Cheating definitely pays for them. The whole Cam Newton thing and how they got away with that is truly mind boggling. And then the doctoring of Robinson's grades and having some female shool board member or whoever she was take his tests and again nothing happens to Auburn. Someone way high up with the NCAA is flat out protecting that program.
