I agree. I understand there's always been the connection with Garner and all, but it just stings that much more when they sweep in at the last moment like this swipe a stud like Lambert away...if that truly does happen.

247 is a joke. They sure love to create drama. I've never seen Scout or Rivals act like this when it comes to players' recruitments. These experts they have over there act like little kids who jump on every single rumor.

The way I see it is this kid is Auburn bound in the end though. When it comes to a recruitment turning into a complete circus Auburn is almost always involved in it. If you look at their past history, they always land players who allow their recruitment to play out like this.

That's my take. If everything was on the up and up, I would say Lambert is a Vol. But once Davonte invited the snakes in and all out chaos ensued, it favored Auburn. It's just how they run their program, and they don't really care. The NCAA has obviously gave up on even trying to sanction them. From Cam, to Jovon Robinson, to Trooper Taylor, to Terry Bowden, Pat Dye, to gun robberies, synthetic marijuana, etc. Auburn is a trainwreck and thrives when they create the wreck.

And that is likely doubtful. I definitely hope Tennessee gets him but that is mainly because of the desperate situation on the Dline heading into next year. Typically a JUCO player with only 2 years to play isnt worth this kind of a circus.

My thoughts exactly. It is just amazing to me what the NCAA allows Auburn to get away with that they dont allow any other program to get away with.
