I agree. I understand there's always been the connection with Garner and all, but it just stings that much more when they sweep in at the last moment like this swipe a stud like Lambert away...if that truly does happen.

My opinion ,Lambert is no better than Garner.
If he was all Vol and Garner sweeps in and changes his mind and Lambert is just stringing everybody along for his excitement then he is no better than Garner. You play with the devil , you will become a demon.

People were convinced Malone was Clemson-bound for almost no reason.

True. I said I had to see it to believe it with Malone to Tennessee. That said I figured that was mostly due to the QB situation at Tennessee. Never did I think anything underhanded was going on with the way that kid has gone through the process in a very mature fashion and the way his family carries themselves. This is an entirely different situation as far as that goes IMO. Anytime Auburn gets involved late like this it rarely ends well. The list goes on an on...Colin Sears, Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown, Gabe Wright and now Lambert...
