the university is community of smaller colleges. the emphasis isnt on core curriculum as it on more refined, advanced curriculum specific to that college or area of study. some colleges have specific application processes past the associates.
very akin to the graudate school ap process. in some instances the applied science BS schooling is as intense as some post graduate study.
community colleges have better core classes as they can concentrate on that as well hire newer grads to teach for cheaper. granted this isnt always tbe case.
my undergraduate professors didnt give two squats about core curricula
It's actually better to go to a JC for core classes as its way cheaper. I've learned a lot from where I go.
Every place is different.
I got my Freshman English out of the way at our CC before going to UTK.
My High School Senior English teacher made that class look easy.
UT Martin's Organic was easier than Knoxville during my years.

I wonder if Auburn sticks to their commitment to Lambert. No guarantee this guy gets his academics together at all.
All things considered UT probably ended up better off. It would've been better to know that EE spot was available for another kid but still I think we're better off. I think if we got this guy here he would've been an academic casualty anyways.I think that remains to be seen. It probably depends if they can turn a few big-time high school defensive lineman leading up to signing day. I could see them dropping him for sure in that scenario. Obviously, the guy is a horrible student and probably more of a longshot to even qualify than people think and is putting little to no effort into his grades.. Plus being a 2 year JUCO, who cant EE and also plays at a position that isn't a great need for Auburn...I could certainly see them dropping him.

There are several with high school diplomas that make more. That apple guy...that burger guy with the little girl with red pigtails....that guy down the street that owns a small co....just saying. Paper degrees mean absolutely zero for lifetime earnings.
