Im pretty sure they knew he tore his ACL. He sat out almost all of his senior year because of it. The ACL tear was common knowledge. His grades are what kept him back. He said he cleared, but the coaches said he didnt.

It may not have been the fact that he injured it. It might have been something surrounding his recovery. I remember VQ reporting on the coaches being surprised by some aspect of his knee and that leading to him being dropped.

Then again sometimes I can't remember what I had for dinner the night before, so take that as you will.

IMO and IMO only I think he starts and is going to be a great player for us.... He is big fast and everything we have been needing at an outside linebacker (minus the dreads).... And I know he had trouble getting in but a lot of people do into UT.... Doesn't mean he's not smart
