This D next year will be SALTY. Already is but next year they'll be that much better.

Most likely, this is true.

D-Line gets a MAJOR boost with Tuttle, McKenzie, Butcher, Ford, Picou coming in, and even better if Phillips jumps on board. Jackson, people are talking about moving to OT, but let's be real. Kid's a DE. Not to mention with Barnett playing well, we'll be just fine there.

LB MAY take a step back. Depends on how well Bates recovers, how well Bryant is using his redshirt year, and how good Cecil Cherry is. Losing A.J. hurts though, no matter how you slice it.

DB will definitely improve. Losing Coleman really is the best player to lose if we must, and with the Berry brothers having more time in the system, Kelly getting better, Gaulden getting better, and then us bringing in Griffin at Safety, and potentially other CBs like Abernathy and Martin, we should be better there. Our pass defense has been stellar. Of course, the obvious is, Sutton will be back.

Our defense should be improved next year, you're right.

All true. Losing AJ will be hard to overcome but I expect to see great strides this offseason from guys like Moseley, Weatherd, Hendrix.

Jordan Williams has been playing very well too.

Blair isn't playing because he sucks. Period. He is a total bust. The whole point of a JUCO player is to have an instant impact. Nobody goes that route with the intent to redshirt the player.

You don't know what the point is.
He may end up a bust, but a geeky little BOY from Harrison hasn't a clue.

:good!:

I would hope that would be the case. The O side is not ready for prime time. But I am seeing a HC that is too loyal and stuck in his own offensive system to make the necessary changes. Truly hope I am wrong.

Nearly identical statements made last year about our current defensive staff.

Amazing what a difference talent or a lack of talent makes.

Hard to judge how good/bad our coaches are with the current o-line.

CBJ has spoken ad nauseam about the need to build depth. He went so far as to say the top OL recruit in the nation this past cycle was RS. To say Blair is a bust is simply not true...at this point.

People need to understand not every JUCO player is CP. not every one of them work out immediately. Blair cannot be considered a bust yet. Now if he doesn't start next year then he will be a bust.

With a RS year, you spend the entire year doing S&C. All linemen should do this. But, we can't because we are playing them and it shows why they are getting their butts kicked. You can't lift when you have to be prepared to play. You have to be prepared to play if you are in the 2 deep. Best things for these guys is to get more S&C and it has to be done but hurts them to not be able to RS.

We have the worst OL I've ever seen, and he can't play... And he was brought in to start... Pretty obvious.. Too many excuses In here. Woody Quinn, R. Jones situation here

No No No. He has the ability. It is there. He came in out of shape bad. Having Blair at LT for us next year is critical. Perfect world...

LG- Jackson
C- Crowder/Thomas
RG- Kerbyson
RT- Jones/ any OT recruit

RS- Thomas, RObertson, Boulware, and Hall if really want to get picky..

You take a JUCO player to come in and make an immediate impact. If they have to come in and redshirt for a year then why not take a HS player? They get to redshirt and then still have 4 years of eligibility instead of 2. JUCOs should be expected to fill in as a starter when they show up.

Our staff couldn't get him In shape in 8 months? Not buying the shape argument anymore, he is just a bust pretty much
