Well Mostella hasn't passed through the clearinghouse yet. I think he will make it at least everyone is opptimistic but Baulkman helps if he doesn't make it. And he can probably play some PG.

I'm more looking at next year. If the intention is that Baulkman can run the point then that makes sense. But if he's a 2/3 guy that's gonna fill the role of Dmontre Edwards I don't really get it.

If Baulkman can play 10 minutes at the point (he did average 2+ assists a game at JUCO last year), than this is exactly the right move and a savvy one from DT as he can bring in a pure PG next year (hello Dequon Miller) and Baulkman can provide depth off the ball. It also means we missed on any other PGs out there, but what can you expect this late in the game. PGs and bigs are the hardest to recruit late in the game as the good ones are usually off the board.

He is an athletic shooting guard that is a big time prospect. The game comes easy to him. He can really score the basketball. Plays the passing lanes well defensively. Being recruited by JUCOS in the Panhandle and mid majors in the South.

Jarnell Stokes averaged 2apg but I wouldn't want him running point, if you get what I'm saying. Baulkman's a:to doesn't resemble a PGs, so I'm guessing he didn't really play point.

We have plenty that can play the back-up PG now. We need the real PG.

If he redshirted as a freshman, then he has 3 years to play 3.

Rucker had him coming to us on May 9th on 247. I was thinking he was wrong on this one another great Juco player shot 34 percent from the three point line 45 percent overall and 76 from the foul line. Great pickup.

Well Coach Tyndall thanks you for giving him the benefit of the doubt and says he will be looking forward to you being on has staff.

He will have a great staff if he hires all his assistants out of Volnation. It is funny.

CDT has a playbook the size of a Manhattan Phone Directory and this is not his first year as a coach or head coach.

He has a decent track record for success so far and yet some of us feel we need to give him the benefit of the doubt. That's says a lot.

Would the Real University of Tennessee Head Basketball Coach Please Stand Up.

I think this coaching staff is planning on Mostella being the point guard. One was even saying they could us Punter there some although they preferred to keep him at the two.
Waiting to see what Chiles does expect somebody of Martin's group is leaving.

Almost identical numbers to Dmontre Edwards coming out of JUCO

That's fine, did you do the same when we signed Yemi, Pops or Reese?

I was ok with Yemi being the short time Zo had to recruit....he was a good guy to take a chance on. Taking Reese and especially Pops means you are failing on the recruiting trail. Every coach will take a chance on a guy every once in awhile he feels good about but usually the rest of the class is more solid than what Zo was bringing in.

Yeah its kinda humorous to read some of these post...some considered to be experts (their thought, not mine)....CDT is building his team and IF Thompson doesn't decide soon he may be on the outside looking in....remember.....we are in the "hang on" mode right now....Just have fun with it and see where it goes is my mantra....

Almost identical numbers to Dmontre Edwards coming out of JUCO

He is a head scratcher, but did make every top 50 Juco preseason list.
Also recruited by Ole Miss, Okie St and Arkansas.
Had a 48 pt game this season with winning 3 at the buzzer.
Would have rather seen a PG.
Makes me worry about Mostella.

He was reached out to by those schools, but not offered, meaning they didn't think he was good enough. Not bashing the kid, but we've all seen the recruited by lists that came with guys like Yemi and Pops.
