I called UT and asked them to come out to my Spring game. Coach Z left me a message while I was playing and said he'd had seen enough.

What is this in reference to? I know it is dated June 2, but I thought he was already coming?

How hard do you think Jackson will work as a walk-on?

Wouldn't surprise me to see Jackson get significant snaps this season. Also he will push the other guys (Croom, Josh Smith, Jonathan Johnson, etc) to another level.

Injuries can quickly decimate a position - turning a strength to a weakness.

Very impressed with Butch's ability to get quality walk-ons to add depth and strengthen the roster. Have not seen much of that since coach Majors (Jeff Powell comes to mind).

Think that will be good enough to get us all SEC next year. I hope he makes it in and plays a significant role. If VN posters make a football player get soft and whimpy then you don't want him. Eh, welcome to life. There will always be people that make comments about other people and try to put walls in front of them. Personally, I see it as a good thing. I know when someone doubted me it gave me an edge and forced me to work harder to shove it in their face at a later time. It's all in what your demeanor is. Only person at the end of the day that defines that person is themselves. If he does read this board, then maybe he can take that advice with him and prove his point, and not get bent out of shape when nameless, faceless people on the internet tell him what he doesn't want to hear.
