'14 JUCO TX WR Kameel Jackson (UT walk-on)

I haven't seen anyone doubt his ability. The most I have seen is in regard to whether he stay on the narrow straight line that has hurt him at multiple stops.
What skin is it off your nose if he doesn't here, either? He's a walk-on, for Pete's sake. Can't understand why a "fan" can't just withhold critical speculations and hope for the best.

Like your momma always said, "If you ain't got nothing good to say...put a sock in it!"

Kameel, if you decide to read this, please note that not all VFLs are complete morons. Like all fan bases we have our share. Hope you do big things and reach all your goals.

This, this and more of this. I am more concerned about when he is getting here, than what road he takes. As long as he gets here safely and wears that orange...I will be happy.

He hasn't made it in yet. July or fall for Kameel.
Wonder if he might be one of those "Blueshirts" or are they planning on giving him a scholy next Spring? Basically, a Blueshirt is a walkon (during the summer sessions), who gets awarded a scholarship for the fall, but counts toward the following recruiting class.

Figured he might be a good candidate for that. Especially if he shows out in fall camp and appears ready to be in the 2 deep, early on.

Looks like some of y'all been put on notice :rtfm:

These kids DO read boards and this is a reminder to all of us not run our mouths about things we don't know about.

OK, Kameel, if you read this and you are coming, get er done. I still got a celebratory beer in the fridge with your name on it. See you on the Vol Walk. I will be the old bald guy that says, "Bout Time."

I'm glad he was able to take some motivation from comments made on here. However, I'm not big on asking people to give up their constitutional rights because of who might or might not be reading.

Using Constitutional rights and using Common Sense are two different matters, entirely. You have a Constitutional right to burn a flag or fly it upside down. But that don't don't mean an azz-beating won't follow.

If "common sense" equates to tiptoeing around potentially bruising entitled athletes' delicate egos?...know which way I'm going. :good!:

I called UT and asked them to come out to my Spring game. Coach Z left me a message while I was playing and said he'd had seen enough.

What is this in reference to? I know it is dated June 2, but I thought he was already coming?

Maybe he is holding out for a scholarship? I mentioned it when news broke he was going to walk-on that it did not make a lot of sense to me. You would think he would have some smaller school options on full scholarship.

I agree, I'm just saying call a person out for offensive comments, but don't call them out because a recruit might be reading and it'll hurt their feelings. If I say I'd rather pass on a kid because of reason x,y, and z, you don't think I'm using logic (or common sense) to form that opinion?

Geeze the thought police have come out full force in this thread. The people who criticized Kameel for not being apart of his JUCO team last fall were not in the wrong. The coaches pulling his scholarship offer is enough evidence to know that he obviously messed up. I don't see what's wrong with some of the members on this board criticizing that. But if their criticism makes him a better player then that's great. Hopefully he can find a way to motivate himself other than getting bent out of shape by what some fans said.

Then may the Butch Slap be with you, bruh! When you got scant info to go on, it's best to lay off the whine and cheese. Follow me?

No...because he disagrees with said opinion...that's the "common" reference. :geek:

I think he means refraining from calling kids things like "hipsters" and "doofus" for no reason at all.

Yeah, and lazy and poor work ethic, and bad attitude, etc. It gets old hearing constant speculation that people refuse to back down from.

I'm glad the haters are turning into motivation. I can always appreciate that. This country was built on hate, so let's keep hating for more motivation.

We dont want anyone to get hurt feelings. Better shut it down. From here on out, only ego stroke and enable. Say it with me "ego stroke and enable".

This kid is a total stud. Tons of ability. We just need a QB who can throw the ball. Period.

North, Malone, VP, Croom, Jackson.

Please try and cover our WR using man with only 1 over the top.

Jim Bob Cooter could be ALL SEC throwing to these guys.
