Nice pick-up by UK!

In a few years, would be fun to watch a UT-UK shoot-out a la Manning-Couch...with the same results and score of course :)

Lol I'd love to give Tim Couch's wife a shootout! I'd hit her wide open across the middle all night!

Shouldn't the thread title be changed to include "UK Commit"? I think we should do that whenever anyone commits and not just for our commitments.

Or we could just let the thread fade into the background around page 12 and not worry about the title next to a kids name who is not attending Tennessee.

When someone visits this forum, at first glance, it looks like everyone is either committed to Tennessee or is uncommitted.

If we note who has committed elsewhere, people will probably stop posting in those threads, unless there is news that UT has a chance to flip the kid.

Not everyone on VN follows recruiting on a daily basis.

I think it would be helpful to note who has committed somewhere else, so that we can all easily find the threads about uncommitted prospects.
I know Barker committed, because I happened to click on his thread last week and read that he had set an announcement date.
As far as I know, every other thread on Page 1 of this forum is about either an uncommitted prospect or a UT commitment.

It's really an obvious and easy thing to do.
I don't see what's productive about not doing it.

Kids flip. No need to give up brotha. Ask Dobbs if you always stay committed to your original pick.

If and when the kid opens things back up and is back to being a possible UT recruit, then bumping the thread makes sense. There would then be reason to discuss things further. As it stands, I would much rather see possible UT recruits/commits threads sitting toward the top.

Because its really hard to find out if he is committed somewhere.

If people who have the capability of editing the thread titles don't want to spend the time, then fine.
But, I have yet to read a single good reason not to. "There's other ways to discover who's committed" isn't a good reason to not make the recruiting forum easier to scan.
I don't want to have to read all 50 threads to see who's committed.
Sorry for opening a can of worms. Apparently, I'm the only one who's interested in designating who's committed elsewhere, so that those threads can fade away, unless there's news that UT's still in it.
I can't believe how many people seem to feel strongly about not touching a thread title, unless it's our commitment. It's as if I trampled over someone else's sand castle by offering a suggestion.
