Once Gaulden, Kelly, McDowell, and the Berrys show up, our secondary should have one hell of a competition for PT.

The Nickel spot and 2nd corner spot will be fun to watch competition wise.

It's amazing how this guy's "best case scenario" according to most on here was, "redshirt and then contribute around year 3"

Now, he's taking first team snaps after being on campus for 2 months.

Awesome

I think they are trying to get reps with the first and second string with a lot of the freshmen to help build the depth but this young man is doing his thing.

Similar to Weisman last year...star police got their hackles up on both offers...if Moseley continues at this clip...when Butch offers a 2* Saban and like ilk will be sniffing the trail.

8-10 lbs of muscle in a month is definitely manageable even for us normal skinny folk. I've done it and am sure I could have done 11-15 if I had access to the same diet / weight facilities as the kids at UT. 18lbs is an amazing gain nonetheless, especially for a short time period, but it's not all that far fetched when you have a world class gym & staff at your disposal.

Taking steroids and insulin?

No one expected Moseley to start off this well. Barely a three star. Congrats to him, he just dominated all his competition in high school I always wondered why he was ranked so low. Most likely was because of how skinny he was. Speed/quickness > thickness when playing cb

Not at all. Lots of shakes, supplements and extra meals. Once you develop a workout regimine and stick to it, so long as you are smart about your diet, workout plan, and have access to a good gym you can make some really nice gains. There is no need to exaggerate. Obviously it won't all be lean muscle, but it's still good weight. It also helps if you are at or around 160 and 6' tall - it's pretty easy to add weight to that kind of frame.

Going to be hard to beat out. He has elite 5 star tools at the position. Just has to put in the skill work.

you guys talking about weight gain need to realize that many of these kids live off junk food or not enough food and hydration in highschool, then get into a program feeding them 1000's of calories a day and working out 10x harder than they have before, all the while being closer to not being a teenager.
I got on creatine and other stuff my freshman year and came back home for Christmas up @ 20 lbs and I was on the freshman meal plan working out at some orange gym on campus. 10lbs of muscle and 10 of pizza but 20 nonetheless

Cam Sutton and Emmanuel Moseley... looks like we will finally have some elite cover corners.

Safeties will be very talented too.

This secondary will start making our DL look better too.

If our DL can start getting penetration especially from both ends, then it will make our secondary look even better.

Curious to see where Gaulden start out at. He will be hard to fend off for whoever is in front of him besides Cam and Randolph since they are locked in

If Gaulden starts out at CB he has some work to do IMO. I like him at CB because of speed, length, physicality combo but he's not SEC ready to play man coverage against Amari Cooper for example. I think if he starts at S it's good for the short and possibly long run, but putting him at CB would be interesting. I think he stays at S since Evan Berry is likely a CB
