Ron Slay drove a Cadillac Escalade around campus. I knew his entire family, and they barley had money to make it by when Ron was in school. He had a little brother who was a special needs child, two other brothers, and a sister and his mom worked in a donut shop. You tell me how he afforded an Escalade in college? By the way, Slay was a very cool guy and his family is the best so whoever paid for it couldn't have gave the car to a better person :rock:.

Patrick and Chris were his two younger brothers, and his sister name was Christiana sp? I'm not sure about his youngest brothers name though. His sister moved to Webb to play basketball I believe when she was a sophomore, and Chris and Patrick both played at Seymour.

Auburn's success began with Cam Newton. It took more than Newton to win that NC, but they don't win that NC without him.

Auburn struck gold with 2 juco guys that won them the NC. Nick Fairley being the other. If our jucos had that kind of impact, and have a good feeling they will, it could jump start the new era for us.

I was pretty sure he had a younger brother named Patrick. I played against him in high school.

Down to UT/SCe with most thinking UT leads by a slim margin. CBJ is selling Scott on being part of a "thunder & lightening" combo with Hurd.

Final 3 of UT, USCe, and NC St. USCe has been recruiting him since he was freshman in HS. He has a HS teammate, Pharaoh Cooper, that signed with USCe last year. However, UT took Kendal Vickers last year, who was also a HS teammate of Scott as well.

Really a 2 team race between UT and USCe. NC St on the outside looking in. He seemed to be all Gamecock for a while, but credit Gillespie for never giving up and being persistent. It probably also helps UT's case that we had a big time win over USCe this year.

Recently, UT has started to trend with Scott. He likes the idea of being a 1-2 punch with Jalen Hurd. Some analysts from multiple sites are actually saying UT may have the upper hand. It will still be tough pull, regardless.

Scott is an ideal fit for Butch's offense. And you have to wonder how much longer Spurrier will be at USCe.

Anybody else think that this tweet was directed toward Scott? We arent really after many recruits in the 2014 class right now. And since its the dead period, contact is limited. Coach G is also Scott's lead recruiter.
