If he grew up a Fla fan, which I believe he said he did, it's not illogical to suggest they have a chance to make a big move with him OVing with his mother.

I like where we are at in terms of Tennessee vs. South Carolina.

I'm showing my bias here, but I really couldn't tell the difference in driving 7 hours to 4 1/2 hours.

On that note, we should hit the family with everything we have to offer. Immediate and impactful playing time for 4 years (Solely up to him if he stays for his senior year); Arguably the best facilities in the NCAA; UT's record at putting all-pros in the NFL regardless of the coach; Coach Jones' ability at building talent ala 2* Eric Fisher; and roughly 20,000+ more fans every Saturday. Compare that to driving one state over 6 Saturdays a year.

“I think it’s all going to come down to his official to Florida and then the in-home visits next week, and he’s going to make an informed decision after that.”

“Coach Gillespie’s done a great job recruiting him — which would be his position coach — and (Tennessee played) between 20 and 30 freshmen or sophomores last year on a very young team. And then (Tennessee has) one of the top recruiting classes committed right now,” Bryant said.

“We’ve got a player at Tennessee (redshirt freshman defensive end Kendal Vickers), as well, that he’s friends with. On his official visit to Tennessee, he had a great time. (He liked) the facilities, the coaches and the players.

“I think that’s why he really likes Tennessee.”

In other words, unless UF hits a grand slam of a visit and in-home, UT is in really good shape.

Coach Bryant is a hell of a young coach and will be up in the collegiate level in the next year or so if he chooses.

Oh ok cool. Thanks man. Super positive quotes for UT there.

Butch and Coach G got this one in the bag.

:salute:

Very positive stuff. The coach also discussed UF a little, but did not praise them like UT by any means. He only positive mentioned about UF was that he thinks their new OC uses a system that may be able to benefit Scott's playing style, which is why he's willing to listen to what they have to say.
