'14 NC RB Derrell Scott (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Some insider on the Gator board is saying that Scott tried to commit but was told Florida wouldn't accept it right now.

However, that makes absolutely no sense and I don't believe it. I think it's a South Carolina and us battle. I just feel like he's looking for a reason to not go to SC. So he ends up here. If they're your favorite team, and they've been recruiting you the longest, why not pull the trigger?

I think he's a Vol

He's going to be a Vol. Scott wanted to see what that dumpster fire in gainesville is like for himself. He saw it and can't wait to announce UT now.

wait to Brantley, Boss, Willis, Holley, Clark, Chad Thomas (UF signing day special calling it now) and DFJ meet him in the backfield. :rtfm: :mf_surrender:

Cook must be trying to recommit. JH with another scoop, I'm sure of it.

Yeah, it makes no sense. I don't even understand how some people get the insider title.

That's not even remotely believable, he's also saying they told Eric Lauderdale they had no room

No, it makes perfect sense. It's called sour grapes. Your gator "insider" knows Scott isn't going to UF so he or his source make up some bs about him wanting to commit and them not accepting it. Absolutely zero chance UF turns down Scott. That report is a preemptive case of "we didn't want him anyway".

This is what he said, said it came from GC. Scott probably said thanks but no thanks, and they're just trying to turn it

Trust me I wish the poster is wrong as I would love to see Lauderdale on this class. It was posted on GC, same poster said that Derrell Scott wanted to commit and the staff would not take his commitment.

Ron, were you laughing at the comment or the fact that he shows up with gator side of the story yet again? Both? Me too lololol.

Scott I can't/won't believe unless Jones gave staff a silent during his visit before OV next week.

Lauderdale I could almost buy bc Muschamp took over the recruitment of CJ Worton. Kid is so a BEAST for a top Fla school. It was times where he would command dbl coverage instead of Lane. I just find the timing a little odd for him to push up his announcement after visiting ASU..could go either way next week.

Id rather play an SEC schedule plus FSU than an SEC schedule plus Bama. We aren't sympathetic.

I don't get the poor pitiful me thing about a football schedule. If you have a tough schedule it is because you are not holding up your end of the competition. Every team out there can only put 11 players on the field at one time. If your team is bad it is because the people you put in charge let it happen.

We should never fear anyone. Our program should want to play the toughest schedule in the country every year and stick our noses up at the end of the year. If you are willing to invest whatever is needed and put the right people in charge you can be successful.

The top programs in the country have that attitude. Why can't that be the attitude at Tennessee?

Man up people or go home!

That's fine, but I also believe in equality.
