Both teams sucked but Florida has beaten us 9 years in a row. They have bragging rights even if they would've gone 1-11 last year. Sorry it sucks but that's what's up.

It does not have to be the hardest schedule in the country but we should not be making excuses for playing a difficult schedule. This is the SEC and we have a difficult schedule because we have not been a competitive team in the conference. IF Vanderbilt can beat UGA and Florida then there is no reason UT should not.

I don't think we should make excuses for losses to Alabama and Oregon. Both of those teams were beaten a couple times this year by other teams. Why did we not beat them? Because we have had some idiots in charge of our program. That is/was our problem. Hopefully Butch changes things.

The problem is not our competition or schedule. It is us and our expectations "not to win." People are already making excuses for next year. If you want to be a winner, you have to think like a winner and stop enabling a losing attitude.

That was the Tennessee attitude in the 80's and 90's and it is time that we get back to that. This program needs to get over suffering from low T.

I agree with 95% of your post...however...most people's expectations are/were based on the reality of a completely depleted talent base and knowing our Coach at the time was totally incompetent. Now that we have a proven winner as a Coach and loads of talent coming in; our expectations will pace our new reality and eventually get back to the 90's standard.

fournette and the other kid will be just fine. Freshman stud RBs come into the league all the time and do just fine. i dont see UF scoring much on them either.is driskel the guy again?

Didn't score much on them in 2012. Just ran it down their throat. Not sure who LSU has stepping in at QB? Stephen Rivers?

Russell wilson looked terrible in that 2nd half.

The bright lights really overwhelmed him tonight.

Mortgage your homes to bet on Peyton in two weeks.

Wilson will certainly falter in under those even bigger lights

Was thinking the same thing watching the game and they can not take that stadium to New Jersey.

How did the No. 5 recruit in North Carolina rate his visit?
“I’d give it an eight,” Scott said. “It would've been better but it was kind of rushed. Overall it was still a good visit, but it was hard, especially for me since I hadn’t been there before, to get everything in, in only two days.”
“South Carolina and Tennessee have recruited me the longest and hardest so they are on top,” Scott said. “Florida is number three. But I just got home and still need to think about it and talk about it with my dad.”

I don't understand why 99 gets blasted just for bringing info over that he got from a different site.

If he would have said "my SC buddies believe Scott's going to be a Vol on NSD" most people would be saying "oh great news thanks for the info post more often" blah blah blah. I'll never get why fans of different teams for the most part, get killed for posting on this board. (except for waco)

Wednesday Jones will be on his in-home visit with Derrell Scott in what looks like a very important in-home visit with the 4-star running back. While we continue to feel that Tennessee is in good shape right now, South Carolina has the last in-home visit with Scott on Thursday night.

Those two visits will be very important for the Havelock, N.C., running back. He is set to announce on Monday at 3:15 at his school. Rivals will have coverage from the event.
