It does not have to be the hardest schedule in the country but we should not be making excuses for playing a difficult schedule. This is the SEC and we have a difficult schedule because we have not been a competitive team in the conference. IF Vanderbilt can beat UGA and Florida then there is no reason UT should not.
I don't think we should make excuses for losses to Alabama and Oregon. Both of those teams were beaten a couple times this year by other teams. Why did we not beat them? Because we have had some idiots in charge of our program. That is/was our problem. Hopefully Butch changes things.
The problem is not our competition or schedule. It is us and our expectations "not to win." People are already making excuses for next year. If you want to be a winner, you have to think like a winner and stop enabling a losing attitude.
That was the Tennessee attitude in the 80's and 90's and it is time that we get back to that. This program needs to get over suffering from low T.
fournette and the other kid will be just fine. Freshman stud RBs come into the league all the time and do just fine. i dont see UF scoring much on them either.is driskel the guy again?
Russell wilson looked terrible in that 2nd half.
The bright lights really overwhelmed him tonight.
Mortgage your homes to bet on Peyton in two weeks.
Wilson will certainly falter in under those even bigger lights

4-star RB Derrell Scott discusses #Florida official visit. #AAVIP: 4-star RB Scott sees Florida @LukeStampini @GatorBait247 @Goldkamp247 #Gators
if anybody can get us this
How did the No. 5 recruit in North Carolina rate his visit?
Id give it an eight, Scott said. It would've been better but it was kind of rushed. Overall it was still a good visit, but it was hard, especially for me since I hadnt been there before, to get everything in, in only two days.
South Carolina and Tennessee have recruited me the longest and hardest so they are on top, Scott said. Florida is number three. But I just got home and still need to think about it and talk about it with my dad.
Wednesday Jones will be on his in-home visit with Derrell Scott in what looks like a very important in-home visit with the 4-star running back. While we continue to feel that Tennessee is in good shape right now, South Carolina has the last in-home visit with Scott on Thursday night.
Those two visits will be very important for the Havelock, N.C., running back. He is set to announce on Monday at 3:15 at his school. Rivals will have coverage from the event.
