'14 OH DE/LB Joseph Henderson (UT Signee 2/5/14)

Leaving this weekend and IMO won't return. DE just got real important up in here, him and Hendrix (potentially leaving) would really, really hurt.

i just cant fathom why a kid wouldnt want to play with other winners. anyone whi is succesful in sport or life knows success breeds success. if dewayne is successful so is tn and his stock will soar. no matter how good the rotation.

I'm (pretty) sure our ship has sailed far, far away from Joe Henderson, but what he's done at Hutchinson CC so far this season provides further evidence that our coaching staff knows talent when it sees it.

In Hutchinson's 1st 2 games Henderson racked up 14 tackles w/ 5.5 TFL, including 2.5 sacks. FWIW, teammate Treyvon Paulk has also done well (161 yards rushing w/ 3 TDs).

Hutchinson is a pipeline to TN so...

I would be fine getting back in on the Henderson train.

I never got off. Dudes a freak athlete. Would have been a great replacement for Maggit on passing downs. Hopefully, Phillips and Taylor develop into very good players, which they should.

Well it's not like we told the guy no. If he gets his grades in order and keeps developing why wouldn't we get back in on him?

I'm with you. He and UT would have never parted ways if he had been eligible to play here. This was not the product of any dodgy conduct on the staff's part. If he develops and if he is eligible, why would he not be welcomed back and why, aside from potentially the depth chart, would he not want to come back to UT, the school he picked over all others when he was recruited the first time?
