I don't think that's what he was saying. Someone previously said that Hurd and Paulk fill our need at rb. He was stating that until they get in campus, RB depth is a need.

I get what he is saying. But it is pointless to make the comment. We all know how recruits have the potential to flip. But there's no reason to be chicken littles about it either. Currently, we have 2 great commits at RB and 3 guys who will see significant time at the position going into the 2013 campaign.

Continue recruiting until NSD, but it's time to focus on other positions of need. Take for instance the DT position, where a guy like Poona Ford could come in and make a significant impact.

He's not saying they're flipping. He's saying until they get here, we dont have much depth

OK, how so? We have 3 possibly 4 backs going into the season assuming Marlin Lane handles his business. Next year, after Neal leaves we will add Hurd and Paulk(being that he wasn't implying that they would flip) to Hill, Lane, and Lee. Sounds like we are good at RB.

Exactly. But he was talking about this year. If Lane or Neal gets hurt, we have an unproven Alden Hill, an underachieving Tom Smith, and Jabo Lee. Depth is certainly an issue this year, which is what he was implying. Especially seeing that Bama, LSU, UGA, etc. are loaded in the backfield with depth.

Just a gut feeling but I think we will see moreout of Alden than some expect. I watched some high school film when he was being recruited and seemed to me to be a raw talent. Hopefull the new RB coach (Robert Gillespie) can can help him out.
