DL Poona Ford (Hilton Head, S.C.)
Ford was unreal on this Saturday and the most impressive prospect in attendance in Orlando. He’s physically overpowering and plays with exceptional leverage. Ford has a good get off, good quickness and surprising athleticism. He was a terror in one on one drills. Ford lacks two things – he’s only put his hand on the ground for one season and he’s only 6-foot-0. But boy can he bring it.

First question Steve Stripling asks a DL recruit: can you rush the passer?

It’s your priorities. Anthony “Booger” McFarland has two Super Bowl rings but never was 6'1". For whatever reason, Jones/Jancek/Stripling use these under-tall guys a lot.

Is "under-tall" a thing now? Back in my day we said "undersized" or even "short"

"After we toured the locker room, coach Jones pulled me aside and we walked and talked and he just said they offered me. It was exciting because I didn't even know it was coming."

"I'm definitely going to keep it in mind. I'm probably going to take another visit there for the spring game," Ford said.

"Recruiting's going pretty good. It's starting to take off," Ford said. "I'm still pretty open."

We definitely have a shot with CBJ as our coach, we've had the facilities and more this year.
Ford has to see the chance for early playing time being more than just words from CBJ, we really need the help. I got a feeling this kid will be wearing orange. We've been on him early, our facilities and staff, and we aren't to far from home. Come on Poona!

Uhh last three words aren't meant for entertainment ; )

I'm sure gurley doesn't like the shirts the uga fans made that say I'm a gurley man. I'm sure he's not as sensitive as some on vn. Would be funny to see a I love Poona shirt
