'14 SC DT Poona Ford

Don't care if they call him Pooh Bear as long as he can play. Dline is a position of need for this class.

Boys I got the feeling that coach is what Tennessee football needed, we will look back and say damn i was wrong about Butch, after he is holding that shinny ball up in 3years.

Folks, I agree that Butch and his staff are making the right moves for the program. Shinny Ball in 3 yrs? I won't be shocked if it happens in 2, or whatever happens this season. It's a long way to the top in college football nowadays. Personally think the odds are better for your favorite team winning a super bowl. I will just be happy as long as we aren't getting embarrassed.

This is one I hope we get locked up before fall. Good players don't stay under-recruited for long.

I have a feeling this kid is going to have a pretty impressive offer list before it's all over and end up in the top 100 on 247 and rivals. Hope we keep this lead and get a commitment soon.

Poona can play, he just tore through a camp in Orlandk or somehwere else? I know bates was in Orlando or atleast I think. Poona would be a huge get for us, definite need for us. Hopefully we can get some defensive commits and lead to Bates seeing he will be surrounded with talent.
Poona Ford=Top Notch DT

One of the things that stood out about Ford was his great strength. He is not the tallest defensive tackle but he makes up for it with his strength and quickness. Ford also uses his height to his advantage, creating excellent leverage that allows him to pack a powerful punch.

This guys wingspan is going to be a serious problem for opposing offenses.

I think Rivals is seriously underrating him.
