Fuller to me makes the most sense. He has the power the rest of our backs don't have right now. I'm a big fan of our 3 RBs but on 4th and 1 it would be nice to have fuller pounding it.

Yeah I think Fuller and Banks could give you that...although Chandler did show some pop for his size last year...hopefully he comes in at about 205 this year...I think that will help him a lot...same with Jordan

Jordan threw Shaun Dion Hamilton to the ground like a ragdoll last year. I don’t know what Pruitt wants but these backup RBs are not the move.

Yeah idk what Jordans weight is. I think he's listed at 195, but he runs bigger than that. Very physical back.

Chandler seemed smaller than I thought he would be. For some reason I thought he was bigger at MBA. Big fan of Jordan too. Jordan will be interesting to see. Brohm wanted him at western Ky and Helton was OC under Brohm. So should be a good fit

I agree Jordan is impressive and could really produce... He runs angry and has a lot of qualities that would work great in what now is our offense. However, the more competition the better it's not like we are crunching for numbers, and if they don't then they can transfer.. I have zero problem with it.

VQ guys were implying on their podcast yesterday Pruitt may feel pressure to win early in order to recruit at the level he wants/needs to get us back, thus the push for grad transfers.

The negative recruiting is heavy against Tennessee, and revolves around coaches saying “sure, you can go to Tennessee and get great coaching, but not play for championships for at least another 2 or 3 years, whereas you can come here to get the same coaching and play for championships now.”

Guess it’s a variation of what all of our coaches have been up against for about 15 years now in the recruiting world.

No quick fixes though

I know what you’re saying...what does Fuller give you that Coleman doesn’t? If there’s a plan to move Coleman to LB it might make sense

Yeah and sit the bench for 2 to 3 yrs or play. Playing beats sitting that’s why so many grad transfers and transfers at a record now

I felt this way when Pruitt and co swung for the fences but struck out in February. If we don't at least make a bowl, then next year's class will end up no better than 5 or 6 spots higher than the last one at best. He won't have the luxury of a 5 or 6 win mulligan season most first year coaches get if we are going for all these GA and AL guys that UGA and Bama really want too.

Agree 100%. Many fans and recruits won’t be patient if we miss a bowl. I think Pruitt agrees too, thus the grad transfers.

Bowl game and a signature win will push this class into the elite status...anything less and it will be somewhere between good and really good

According to some on here, we are in for 3-9 season. I am a pessimist, but even given the holes on the o-line, 5-7 seems worse case scenario...barring a catastrophic injuries.

As impatient as Volnation is right now, I can't say as I blame Pruitt. He is probably thinking "What in the hell have I got myself into" with this roster. As much as I agree that it is not a good way to go for long-term success...from that perspective it makes sense.

If he thinks these guys can help him from having a disaster of a season..I get it.

Maybe the worst thing that could have happened is happening right now as well... coach Barnes has taken a bunch of underrated recruits and won a championship with them. Makes the fan base even hungrier for the next one and now fans can point to Barnes and say it can be done with little time and 3-4 star talent

In three years for a sport that’s much easier to turn a team around in.

Two completely different situations. Not even remotely comparable. If any fan thinks what you are saying then they are utterly insane.

Only fans that don't know sports believe that Pruitt can turn things around like Barnes with three stars. Football is more physical and requires you to have guys that are bigger and stronger than the other team. One player cannot take control of a football game like they can in a basketball game.

Except that we actually have talent on this team. There are 4 stars that litter the roster.

I see zero negatives on winning a championship. If anything, it’s medicine for BVS.

And the OL and DL are just litter..The 4* we have are mostly overrated/undersized busts to this point. Those stars somebody awarded them in HS don't mean crap if they don't play like it in college.
