'14 TN ATH Vic Wharton (UT Signee 2/5/14)

He's visiting bc he has always liked ND. Them, and Ole Miss are the 2 other schools he liked before UT. College visits are fun. Regardless, he's going to be a VOL. He couldn't live that far from his momma. I just wanted to pass along some info before it gets reported assuming he does go, that way there wouldn't be a meltdown here.

Sounds like he is just making sure the staff still appreciates him.

They took his number. He hasn't OVed.

My guess is he feels under appreciated,

Don't blame a kid for taking visits, either, just+ hope he's a no-doubt Vol.

hoping he can have a ryan switzer like impact this year.

will be really interesting to see who runs away with that KR/PR job.

I don't know exactly what it is but I do know that nobody on VN ever mentioned blue shirting until someone on here made a thread about it. Ever since then, blue shirting seems to be a big thing around here. He's not getting a blue shirt.

It's going to be darn near impossible for us to blueshirt any of our commits. It's really hard to get out of the NCAA's definition of being officially "recruited."

Even if he doesn't know what it means, seems like evidence it hasn't been discussed or Vic hasn't discussed it with him (ie hey guys, check out how butch is gonna sign 35 guys.)

It hasn't been discussed at all with Vic. He just feels a little under appreciated after losing his number after being promised it. If he visits ND it's a attention thing, there's literally nothing to worry about here.

A blue shirt is the same as anybody else except you don't OV or sign on NSD.

They still play next fall and are on scholarship.

It's a deal most of us here would gladly accept since it means an additional signee


It's perfect for kids that are 200% vol that would never consider anywhere else. That's why Vic appeared to me to be perfect for it
