Kelly Jr. can play along with McNeil and Randolph, potentially. Remember we are in our nickel package on defense A LOT of the time. Not saying that he will. Just pointing that out.

Randolph is coming back from an ACL injury. He's still not 100 percent. Only had 1 tackle against AP. I hope he balls out this year.

Next spring/fall, it's gonna be a battle for the DB spots. Good problem to have. Will have quality depth.

About time, no more of that Jaron Toney/Max Arnold nonsense.

How much did Randolph actually play though and how often was AP in our secondary at that time? Randolph balled out in the spring game.

He had one tackle because if you dominate on defense your secondary does not make tackles. The defensive lineman and linebackers made the tackles before the runners got into the secondary. I do not think that stat is at all an accurate picture of his play.

The perfect plan IMO is to use TK2 as a backup swing safety (B-Moore's role now) for a year or two until Randolph goes pro and then as a true sophomore/junior he is starting and playing every down.

Hard for him to have more than 1 tackle when their players are getting tackled at the LOS everytime. Same reason Cam wasn't tested. They couldn't get the ball out there to test him plus randy didn't play a ton. He will be ok.

Randolph is 100%... He's said so himself. He's been cutting and doing all team activities since the Summer.

LaDarell is the one that I'm eager to see. Really curious to see how he progresses. All of the VQ guys have been hyping him up like crazy. I'm ready to see some WRs pay going across the middle.

Too bad with the new NCAA if he hits him to hard he'll get suspended.
