Uhhh, SPEED, yes please! I'll take kids like this all day. Starts off with a chip on the shoulder wanting to prove he belongs and already has the measurables and speed.

He's a walk-on. Not exactly high stakes.

Agree. He is the same size as Probst, and has the same impressive HS performances, the only difference being Probst was a 3 star scholly and this guy is free. I saw Probst play a couple of times and he was a beast in HS. Very good run stopper at the point of attack. The SEC quickly exposed his lack of speed laterally and pursuit speed. There is a reason Cody is a walk-on as coaches absolutely see beyond what guys like us see. You always have those hidden gems like Demico Ryans and I truly hope he proves everybody wrong.

Glad he's preferred. I guess being a non-preferred walk on is the lowest form of recruiting. It's pretty much saying, "we don't want you, but we won't kick you off the practice field either."

Dale Jones. One of 13 children who weighed 180 lbs. in high school. He went to TMI before earning a scholarship at UT. Battled through the depth chart and injuries to become a legend. I see no problem with giving Underwood a chance.
