Kids a good player. Saw him play the first game of this past season. At the time I was actually at the game to see the Cooperwood kid. But Rollins showed out that game. He pretty damn quick.

He needs an offer.

Not even looking at him being a in-state kid, I dont care where he's from, he needs an offer.

Lots of debate about whether he's worth one. Cooperwood has a lot of work to do on the field last I read.

I'm not the one making decisions, but I don't think he is. He's getting too big and footwork is a concern.

Rollins has also stated that he isn't really a Tennessee fan, but if he gets an offer its a whole new discussion. 4.41 is blazing fast, and we need that speed at DB.

Good grief - offer the kid today, Jones. Don't pull a Fulmer. You can't tell me he won't be better than half the guys on the roster at the same position he ends up playing, plus add in returner possibilities. If he doesn't come at least you have offered a local kid and sent the right message.

"Like Carlos said, the kid is very explosive. I was surprised by the 4.41, that's a great time. The knock on him is size, he's probably about 5-9, 160-165 pounds, or was in the fall. Would love to see him at corner at some camps.

I think some schools will stop by Fulton this year and he will catch some eyes for sure."

Why did you say we could lock these two up quick and then go on to say Copperwood isn't worth an offer?

Because I know Cooperwood is a huge UT guy. Whether or not he's worth an offer isn't up to me. If the coaches determine he's worth an offer, he'd probably commit on the spot.

He deserves an offer at DB or slot WR. Also I have a class with Eric Gordon and (spoiler alert) the guy is 5'6" if not smaller. I'm in the opinion that if you have the intensity to play size isn't as big of a factor, at DB. What is this kids academic situation? I haven't heard anything bad, but just wondering.
Honestly if he can get up to 5'9" 185lb by the time he enrolls that is fine size for a nickel/slot WR guy. 4.41 on lasers is a statement.
