'15 AL DE Prince Tega

Stash him away because he needed a redshirt year anyways. You also want him to still sign this year so he an get into a rehab program with college trainers and their strength and conditioning coach. Not knocking high school trainers and all, but you want him to be working with professionals and SEC football programs employ those professionals. Chances increase that he can can fully recover if he can immediately get to work
with college trainers and strength coaches.
Plus you get to teach him your system

Don't worry. He is yours to lose.

I would have loved to have this kid. So much potential. But given the timing of the incident, I doubt we ever receive a visit. Hope he has a quick and full recovery though.

Doubt it too. He was coming here before auburn. And he had already been there

If it is a tib/fib break, he will be out for some time. That is a nasty break, always requires surgery. They are so rare in sports (Prothro, Theisman), as usually the knee or ankle absorbs the damage. These breaks are usually reserved for significant trauma like car wrecks.

i broke mine and didnt have the surgery. it was about a year before i was back to normal though and mentally it took longer than that. i am also not a D1 athlete either but i was 15 when i did it. i have heard the surgery is worse long term because of the annoyance of a rod in your leg.

hate to hear about the injury. good luck Tega.

I was wondering this before hand any way but will ask now, can he re-reclassify to 2016? or is it like the draft where once you do it you are done? i would think he could stay another year in high school but just wanted to ask.

with an injury this bad, i doubt he plays next year anyway, at either high school or college, so i would think his best interest is getting to college and learn the system/adjust.

@JohnGarcia_Jr: Just got a great message on Edgewood star Prince Tega Wanogho Jr.:

" It's a clean break, he should be good to go by May." - HC Bobby Carr.

Tragic injury but it sounds like he could end up being fine in the end. Hopefully he finds out which school actually fits him the best now, as I figure some will be scared off by the injury despite them saying they will still honor those offers.

I'm going to watch this one much more closely now with the Ford decommit. I just assume Auburn but maybe we really are in this more than people think as VQ and 247 seem to have hinted is the case in recent days.
