'15 AL OL Brandon Kennedy

Not rustled big time, but tbh, UA developing players and them being poached by UT and/or AU when they are reaching their prime doesn't sit real well with me.

When it happens to UT, I doubt it will sit well with Vols fans.

Disagree. Anytime a player has been rumored to want out, the majority have always responded the same "if you don't want to be a Vol, get out".
No idea how Pruitt would react but I would be happy to disagree with him also. If they met their commitment, good luck and God's speed. We don't own them.

How can Kennedy reach his prime or his potential as a backup? He put in the work, got a degree, and wants to finish his career elsewhere. And he shouldn't be stopped from doing so, no matter the school he chooses, period.

Also, it's hard for me to feel sorry for Bama or it's fans, for really any reason at all, after the run you guys have been on. Hope you lose every game this fall, all your graduates transfer, and Nick retires in December. :hi:

You don't own this players. They come to school to play football and in return they get a free education. When they have graduated you can't force them to get there grad degree there. If they still have athletic elgibity they should be able to play at what school is best for there graduate degree.

Your heart is with Alabama which I get but these players should have some rights. I don't like the idea of forcing a player to not make the best decision for him and his family after he has completed his degree which the degree is the only reason these players can't openly make any money.

You say poached like Pruitt and Malzahn were hanging around Tuscaloosa after practice and convinced him to leave.

He decided to transfer, where he goes is his decision now

Same is true for all these guys, right?

DB Todd Kelly Jr.
DB D.J. Henderson,
LB Darrin Kirkland Jr.
DL Kyle Phillips
WR Malik Elion
LS Riley Lovingood

You and other Vols fans all good with all of these guys transfering to other SEC teams and playing for them this coming season? There'll probably be some more next year and the next...

Well, 2 of those guys will start at UT this fall so they won't want to transfer. Just like Kennedy if he were the starter in Ttown. If the others left, I wouldn't be surprised or upset. I would wish them well.

Excuse me if I don't feel sorry for the Sabanites. One, two or even three players poached from your roster isn't going to make much of a difference for y'all.

You're still going to play for the SEC championship.
You're still going to be a factor in the playoffs.
You're still going to have another 4 or 5 star to replace them.

Go cry about your diamonds being too shiney on a Bama board.

It's not our fault he is leaving you, that's what happens when you have depth I guess. You certainly can't blame Tenn or it's fans. If it happens to us we will have to deal with it, just like you need to deal with this. This is what is going to happen to any team in the future when you have a roster full of depth 3 and 4 deep, your going to lose someone now and then. So don't expect no tears to be shed from Tennessee fans because you lose a player, if it does happen to us I sure won't be on your board whining about it. GBO!!!!!

Who Kirkland & Phillips?

A UT starter might be interested in transfering to a team he could start for that's projected to win a lot more games or one with potential be a contender for an SEC championship and the playoffs. For example, maybe they could start at Auburn.

That’s an insane take

Hopefully but i read somewhere that's Williams always wanted to play for Unc growing up. He's a
Great student and I am sure could graduate in 3 years if he wanted to. Stranger things have happened

And turner will be a 5th year guy as a senior

We've already had our Jalen Hurd. Keeping a player that doesn't want to be on the team, hurts both them and you. I just wanted Hurd gone, didn't give a flip where he went. Be careful what you wish for.

Sure. I want kids to enjoy the eligibility that they have in a system that exploits the hell out of them. Go get yours.

If they all want to transfer, there are problems a rule won't fix. It's a silly premise tbh.

Good luck to them if that’s their choice. How many grad transfers, who were projected starters on their original team, over the last few years? I’m betting it’s close to zero. Silly point you’re trying to make while crying about losing backups.

They are STUDENT athletes and if the student who wanted to go to Alabama graduates early and Dick Saban brings in other players that got better car deals than said student, as a graduate he should be granted to be a STUDENT athlete at any institution he would like to continue his education for he is a STUDENT athlete no matter what the sawed off troll turd wants. He creates the problem not the STUDENT athletes. He wins championships and now he is trying for a god status and the overlord of rules that pertain to the NCAA.

His argument makes no sense. The guys that transfer aren't starters unless they are at FCS level trying to move up or coach leaves and not a fan of new scheme. It's backups that transfer for more playing time
