Kennedy hasn't announced a decision yet, so that would be why you haven't heard anything. People I've spoken to lately still think Kennedy is likely to end up at Tennessee, but he has remained quiet so far. At this point, though, it appears he won't be able to enroll at UT until next month even if he picks the Vols.

I am not 100% positive I think the biggest issue is that he attended graduate classes and attend the spring practice sessions with Alabama. I think that put him in a weird predicament.

None of that matters. What matters is he played football last year at Bama. With Eligibilty left that means he has to go thru the transfer protocol

Yep - I have no idea if he is or isn't. Just know we can only play the guys we have on the roster. I hope he comes and plays well. Not much for me to say about it until he's here and see him in camp.

I'll probably go with my VFL friend to a practice or two, but mostly trust his and others' eyes. If he's there will have a pretty good read on him. The passing of the NCAA change 88 just posted will probably cue his release to wherever he chooses. Hope it's us because CJP knows what the kid can do, so whoever he competes against on the current roster will have to raise their game.

So if the policy doesn't go into effect till halfway into the season...Then Saban can still effectively hold up Kennedy till then if he is just determined to be a spiteful prick?

IMO he is trying to force Kennedy into going anywhere else to play besides UT or AU this year, so I bet they continue their quiet game and keep on this course...especially since it appears no one is going to call them out on it.

Yep has a lot in his favor now. If he picks TN there is more in his favor than auburn. He can use his already established relationships with Pruitt, Niedemeyer and Weinke. Not in same divison. Only thing against us is scheduled opponent but that shouldn't be something NCAA is worried about

some of you have asked about Brandon Kennedy. Have spoke to a few different people today and all indications are Tennessee will be his new home with an indication he will be here for July. Obviously his arrival date could change but all indications I’ve been given say Tennessee will add Kennedy.
