Brought this up twice yesterday cause I didn't wanna bump his thread but couldn't get any discussion, but thank you for the bump because this could really effect the qb dominos in relation to us.

Yeah, I don't usually bump threads for kids we are not in on. This is a bit different IMO as it could affect our QB board.

Definitely. It'll put Waller looking more at auburn and OSU. I could see notre dame making a run at some QBs we are in on like dormady.

Corona (Calif.) Santiago QB and recent Notre Dame decommitmentBlake Barnett*will visit three SEC schools this coming week per 247Sports' Justin Hopkins. Barnett is set to visit Alabama on Thursday, Ole Miss on Friday, and LSU on Saturday. The 6-foot-3.5, 195-pound Elite11 Finalist also previously visited Oregon prior to opening his recruitment.

Barnett was offered by Alabama on February 16. Oregon, who is the childhood favorite of the four-star signal caller, holds a commanding lead in his Crystal Ball with 94% of the picks in their favor.

After snooping around a Bama board to read about Barnett's commitment, I found this gif and couldn't help but laugh.

Bama literally is just stacking talent up so high it is disgusting.

Ehhhh whatever. USC used to have about as many 5 stars as they had 4 stars or something sick. And they fell. Teams always fall. And just because he's rated really high doesn't mean he will be great. Bama has two other "stud" QBs on the bench who apparently can't step up and win the syarting spot so they had to run and grab an old man to transfer from another school and use the 5th year of eligibility rule so they could have someone serviceable to play the position.

So I say ooooo they got a supposedly good qb to commit. Who cares. He and Dormady both have to prove themselves on the SEC level. We'll see who turns out better.

Go Vols!

I think it's hilarious that they are excited about lane Kiffin. Let me guess? Saban will keep him under control and compliant?

Yeah right. You can dress up a turd as much as you want and spray the thing down with a whole bottle of cologne. But the turd will still be a stinking turd.

Only a matter of time

Bama has hit their peak. I hope they enjoyed their time at the top. It's gonna be a long hard fall

Anyone know a general number that Alabama can take this year?

The good thing is that they can't take everyone, and they already have 19 commits. I have been following recruiting for a long time, and I don't remember Saban taking this many so early. But, I may be wrong.

It seems to be getting faster and faster each year. Kids are committing early and securing their spots. With all the UOVs taken now a days, it just makes sense kids can decide sooner. If your a recruit who wants to "enjoy the process", you better have a pretty big list because your options are going to be a lot less come NSD.
