Ehhhh whatever. USC used to have about as many 5 stars as they had 4 stars or something sick. And they fell. Teams always fall. And just because he's rated really high doesn't mean he will be great. Bama has two other "stud" QBs on the bench who apparently can't step up and win the syarting spot so they had to run and grab an old man to transfer from another school and use the 5th year of eligibility rule so they could have someone serviceable to play the position.
So I say ooooo they got a supposedly good qb to commit. Who cares. He and Dormady both have to prove themselves on the SEC level. We'll see who turns out better.
Go Vols!
Who are the 2 studs you speak of. Sims was an athlete that never could make the transition to QB and got beat out it appears for the upcoming fall by a redshirt freshman Bateman with no experience. A Morris was a 3 star and never has been labeled as a stud nor will he see the field. The only other QB on the roster, Cornwell is a true freshman who missed his senior year of play.
And FTR Coker has only used 2 years of his eligibility. He was part of FSU's 2011 class. RS in 2011, played a little in 2012, and missed part of the 2013 season with injury last fall. So he still has 2 years left before he needs to worry about a 5th year.
We are hoping Coker pans out if not most SEC schools will be in better shape than UA this fall at QB.
