Think he'd be wanted back by Coach Mac? Jones is a terrific prospect IMO. I guess what I'm asking is if he's what Mac's looking for at the position. Your thoughts?

According to ITG he didnt speak with Muschamp or Roper before or after he decommitted. Mac didnt contact Jones when he was hired or contact peroid. Rumored that Jones didnt believed he fit what CJM does on offense but after speaking with a Mac he is now considering UF again. Fla has turned up the heat on Francois and Lamar Jackson recently.

He's been after DF, Lamar Jackson and the QB from TX. All iirc are listed as DT QB's. UF is taking a QB this cycle so the opportunity is there for Jones to be that guy. Not sure if he's concerned about Grier and Harris being underclassmen.

If he wants back on board then I would assume it is just a matter of days before he re-affirms to UF then. The parting was all on him, not CJM, correct?

Just noticed that. Callahan CB'ing him to TN a few days ago is usually a really good sign. He's very conservative in predicting guys to Tennessee. That is why Hiahleah's info yesterday about him wanting back in at UF threw me off.
