Are those pictures actually the numbers they are planning to wear? I noticed Tuttle was wearing #9, so either Barnett is switching #s or they were just issued random jerseys that fit?? I have no idea, so sorry if this is common knowledge...

Those pictures were taken during campus visits. They always have their high school number on the jersey.

People who know more than I do feel as if Jones projects as a RT or G.

Jones will not play guard, he will probably play RT, but LT isn't out of the question. We still have a legitimate shot at either Allen or St Louis.

You know you have the right guy when he knows he is coming in to compete with two other quality QBs in the same class. I am very happy this happens. S-Jones is the real deal, not that JJ and QD are not - they are as well.

To the goobs that think that shady things are going on to entice this one to stay and that one to come in - did any of that happen when Bama has been stacking up talent? How about Ohio State? Same as several others, UT is a legendary program. Could it possibly be that it is all out in the open, discussed openly by the players themselves, as well as that Butch has made the program nationally relevant again and soon to be feared? Could it be that great players attract great players to win NC's and have good opportunities to go to the NFL, and if not, to link up with careers as VFL's?

Take the conspiracies and junk back to the FF.

Alabama does it so much that Saban all but told Hurd when he was camping, that he would be a DB...so accustomed to getting great players that he never stopped recruiting him...usually works for him...can't recruit scared. USC at it's best would have 2-3 5 star QBs in a class, and a former 5 star QB (Mitch Mustain) would transfer IN...and the next year ? 5 star true freshman (Matt Barkley) wins the job...scared recruiting wouldn't have even offered Barkley. Barkley has a great freshman season and then it becomes apparent that USC will be on probation...so no bowls and a locked in starter? They sign two 5 star QBs the next year! Did I mention that you can't recruit scared?

Austin Kendall you mean?...he committed knowing that he'd have competition...great QBs go to programs that have other great QBs...makes for great programs.

I'm guessing Kendall will be the only QB in his class also, and that will help keep him intact.

I like Peterman but would it matter if the writing wasn't on the wall? Who do you feel gives us a better chance of winning vs a legit competitor Peterman or a random skill position player running the wildcat?

Even if you give the slight edge to Peterman you have to acknowledge that if that is even a question you don't really have a QB.

Peterman committed to us, he got his chance to prove himself at the SEC level, and it didn't work out. He shouldn't even be sour about it. It is what it is.

Thanks for the love guys. 99.9% of the time I could care less about people questioning me but this one feels good lol

Also, we should all feel good about this one. Jones is the perfect qb for our offense. Other than Kamara this is our best offensive recruit.

And as GFW said, CBJ isnt even close to finished. Pay close attention to the weekend of the 16th. Good times ahead.
