'15 CA QB Sheriron Jones (UT Signee 2/4/15)

I didn't realize that this was the 'create a play' thread.
How about when it's 3rd and inches we do something from under center instead of shotgun?

Dooolicious play

Regular formation

PLUS:
1 extra RB/QB
1 extra TE
1 extra WR
EQUALS
1 extra TD!!

I don't think they can cover..
we'll save it for the LSU game. shhhhh!

I kinda thought everything you typed is what the differences were...

I do alright with the ladies. I live with four right now. I gotta get the oldest to school here in a minute though so I gotsta go! :)

The other stuff yeah totally seperates us. :p

I've been doing some number crunching. Jones' high school numbers from last year are not easy to find, but I've been digging them up and calculating and I have to say that this kids passing numbers were sick. I'm missing about 5 games so they are still nowhere near complete. Through 7 games Jones

84/127
1632 yards
67.0% completion
24 TD to 5 Int
19 yds per comp.

The only rushing numbers I have so far are for his first game of the season, which he carried the ball 12 times for 142 yards to go along with 5 passing TDs and 250 yards through the air.

It's nuts we've not talked about our 4-star QB signer in over three months. Amazing the plethora of QB talent we are bringing in.

Snippet from 247...

“I’m been working hard on my agility, being able to get out of the pocket and everything like that,” he said. “Besides lifting weights, that’s been my main focus. I’m been working on being more explosive — just doing a lot of jumps and things of that nature, so I can be more explosive and not be touched when I’m in the pocket or anything like that, and be able to break tackles when I need to.”

He hasn't confirmed what number he will wear. He's around 6-3, 190 lbs.

People are definitely overlooking this kid, with Dormady already on campus and Guarantano in the fold for '16, but he's a stud. Can't wait to see what he can do.

Yeah, he had said just after signing day that he'd be SJ3, with 3 being his number. Guess he didn't know Josh Malone.

i would say the opposite. especially before the spring game everyone was saying he was going to be the clear number two. he was going to run circles around Dormady and out throw Jennings. not saying he won't but i have read a lot more of Jones over either of the other two than i have vice versa.

^ this...the "overlooked" comments confuse me. See much more anointing before he's even taken a practice snap. He'll get every opportunity to catch up to the EEs and very well could be the 2 this year...but he's behind.

i assume the plan is to redshirt at least 1 of the freshman? With the depth chart (at least right now) being:

1. Dobbs
2. Dormady, or
Jennings, or
Jones
