'15 CA QB Sheriron Jones (UT Signee 2/4/15)

If you've watched any interviews you can tell he has the charisma and sharpness to make a great leader. He's a lot like Gaurantano in that respect.

Great to hear.

"Speaking of talent, we spoke with both high school and collegiate coaches around this month for camps, and the new arrival who wowed: Sheriron Jones. From physical skills to perhaps most importantly mental makeup, Sheriron is turning heads."

Safety

Also, who ya got? Dormady or Jones for backup?

I think it depends on how soon you need the back-up to play meaningful minutes. Early on, being here for the spring probably gives Q the leg up. The more time passes, the more I think Jones closes that gap.

On NSD, I thought Jones would end up being the best of the bunch. I'm still inclined to think that even though Q was reportedly impressive throughout the spring.

Regardless of how it shakes out, I feel really good about the future at that position as long as we can make it to the UK game without an injury to Dobbs. If he does happen to go down before that, a true frosh gets thrown to the wolves, and things could get ugly.

Dormady will have something to say

I'll have to see how Debords offense compliments Q. I was never impressed with Bajakians pass concepts. I respect Dormady's wheels but I think he's a more of a traditional QB.

(In before "he's saying white QBs can't run)

It's beginning to sound more and more like the Peyton/Brandon Stewart competition with Todd Helton looking on.

Helton was ahead of Peyton on the depth chart....... initially. Then he for some STRANGE reason (in addition to a knee injury) decided to stick with Baseball. go figure!
