Well, once Auburn outbid us, no....

No, I'm pretty sure that Cam was very high on us, and that Lane decided to go with Matt Simms as the Juco QB instead. Which fit Kiffin's brand of offense more, of course.

But mercy, what a mistake. Three QBs, really 4 if you count Bryce Petty, and of all of them, we chose the worst one.

Petty, Boyd, Newton....and Sims.

It's the curse.

Can you imagine Dools coaching Cam Newton? He would have found a way to squander his talent and Newton would probably be playing in the CFL right now.

That kid is an absolute BEAST!...He hit 2 of those qb's so hard they left imprints on the field lol....He reminds me of a young Zach Thomas...He never gives up on a play.
