'15 FL QB/WR/DB (anything he wants) Torrance Gibson PART II

Funny how this thread's tone has changed, now that some reality finally settling in with the Gibsonite horde.

This thread made "stooges" a flattering moniker. :)....as intended I'm sure. :wink2:

247Sports learned on Friday evening following the camp that Ohio State is now No. 1 for Gibson, as they battle Tennessee and several others for the U.S. Army All-American’s National Signing Day signature. Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes business school were cited as the main reasons why Ohio State has climbed past the rest to this point. The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage standout and nation’s top-rated athlete according to 247Sports was making his first-ever visit to Columbus, arriving early Friday afternoon, and the good news for Buckeyes fans is, he will stick around until Sunday.

If Urbie doesn't get Gibson he will start having those little "chest pains" and see the need to attend his daughters soccer games.

It would be huge if we could pick up an athlete of Gibson's caliber. I will leave it up to Butch to make the call as to whether or not to recruit and/or take him. Gibson is likely to change his mind 100 times between now and even after NSD. Wouldn't be surprised to see him as a JUCO next year.

He doesn't usually waste those on backup WRs who end up at Appalachian State. :scare:

Bottom line is he's scared of elite competition in the SEC. Let's move on there's nothing to see here.

I don't think he's "scared." I think he realizes how well he fits in that offense and that it is his best shot to stay at and be a great player. It's a good fit for him and I wish him the best

When did he commit to OSU? Must've missed that announcement ....

While all other coaches and camps are being straight up with TG telling him he projects as a WR with an occasional look at QB in the wildcat. CUM is selling him 100% at QB and after signing day he's going to be catching passes.

Integrity isn't CUM's moniker.

Seems like Urbie told Aaron Hernandez that he would make him a "Role Model" for football players all across America and that he would make him famous.
See how that turned out.

So he's not coming to Tennessee?

He doesn't have it in him to come here and compete, he wants someone to beg and say the QB job is his, coach doesn't work that way, we don't need those type of players, we had enough of those the last several years, wish him luck with little urbie at the little ohio suks, oh I mean state.

Most know I wanted no part of TG in Knoxville and trying to play QB for our Vols. In my eyes he is just not a QB. With that said, saying he is not going to be a Vol because of competition, the SEC, or whatever is just silly. Torrance Gibson would be a Vol IF CBJ would take him. Anyone who has followed his recruitment IMO would know that. Tennessee told Gibson No and he had no choice but to look elsewhere. It's that simple.
