Gibson wore tOSU cleats in his game on Sunday. He's not coming to UT. We have our future QBs already committed in Dormady, Kendall and Jennings.

Gibson wants the chance to be mentored by Braxton Miller. Miller will stay and play his last year of eligibility next year even tho he graduates this December. This gives OSU the leg up on Gibson but tbh I like the character of our committed qb's much better. Heard that Gibson has some questionable off-field decisions.....talent or no we do not need any of that affecting team chemistry. OSU can have him.....TJ Barrett is going to be their future qb anyway.

Yep, Cam and his computer stealing, and daddy pay for play, really screwed up Auburn. Maybe Dormady is all that and a bag of chips. He better be, because Jennings is NOT a D1 QB.

I really hope that changes...because Jennings is going to be a Vol...and Gibson isn't. :hi:

I'm not sure but I think he stated we were only taking 2 QB's this class. We already had Jennings so by accepting Dormady's commitment he sorta passed on TG by accepting the Dormady commitment. If that makes any sense?

It makes total sense to anyone paying attention to recruiting, what CBJ is doing, and not just star gazing.

I'm not going to badmouth any of our committed guys. That being said, Torrance Gibson has a special ability to perform on the field that can imitated but not duplicated. It's not just his old star ranking that stood out. He performs. His baggage would have to be pretty dang bad for me to ever say no thanks. Maybe it is that bad, but until there's some factual information on the subject I prefer to keep an open mind. I have learned to never assume anything about this recruiting cycle.

Gibson went 7 for 11 passing for 298 yards & 4 TDs in the season opener. He also added a rushing TD in the victory.
