Urban was apparently the only one that guaranteed he'd play QB...if he redshirts along with Burrows while Barrett and Jones duke it out, he might have an opportunity in three years...never know.

That's true but I thought TG wanted to play right away. He hasn't convinced me that he is patient. Then again, what do I know.

It would be good for him to realize instant gratification ain't in the cards. As soon as he was told he was a star, he's tried to live it...he needs a program to afford him the time to work on those skills...he has a lot to work with.

Will this thread never die? I would not want him over either of the 2 we have coming in this week and the one that will be ours on signing day. Shoot this zombie thread in the head so it walks no more. JMO.

First you insist that you aren't an athlete and strictly a qb, fair enough. But then instead of actually working on becoming a better qb you spend every waking moment instigating "twitter off's" between 5-6 Fan bases about who loves you the most and thinks youre the best and makes you the best photshopped pictures. That's a start

My original argument against him...I soured on his act when he made a week long buildup to an important announcement on Twitter...then announced that he was taking his talents to the Army All-Star game...in retrospect, he was probably making light of how worked up people get about these things...just didn't think it was very face of the program QB worthy. Won't surprise me if he turns out to be a fine QB...just think he needs a year of two not being a star, whilst learning mechanics and studying coverages to reach that.
