I don't think he would have committed had QB not been part of the equation. JMO

You may be right. However we are dealing with kids here and we don't know if JJ lied. You seem to think JJ is telling the truth. Yet when Gibson said CBJ told him he was their #1 QB target, you seem to think that's not true. So it's obvious that not only do you not like one of the best players in the country, you also believe he is a liar.

JJ was quoted as saying he would NOT commit to a school where he did not at least have a shot to play QB. Shortly after that quote he committed to Tennessee.

TG was quoted as saying he was #1 on UTs QB board and was "the man" CBJ wanted in the 2015 class. UT has since taken 2 other players who will play QB in the 2015 class.

I did not call the kid a liar. I just think it's clear that being "the man" may not have at the time included the other 2 QBs ALREADY committed to Tennessee.

Wait! You're questioning the almighty words of our coaches. Their words are unquestionable like the hours in the day or if the earth rotates around the sun.

Months ago when CBJ did not have a QB committed TG may have been "the man" and "#1". 2 QB commitments later IMO may have shaken that up a bit. Could CBJ have been honest at the time he said it? Sure. JMO.

If for some reason CBJ changed his mind with JJ and decided QB was not an option, I would fully expect him to discuss that with the kid long before he were to sign. I doubt CBJ would just stay quiet then move JJ to defense the 2nd day of practice.

I want TG as much as anyone, but with him playing WR at camps, It's becoming a little disturbing. Why even go to play another position

I made my special recipe chocolate chip cookies tonight. Since we are staying on topic.

I'm sure if there was any TG news, the Gibsonites would have it front and center. News that he will be playing WR at the 7 on 7 and at the Opening may slow the "news" a bit. Just have to see how things go.

Maybe he is still the man and thats why 2 other qbs isn't scaring him off.

It's pointless to keep fussing about this whole deal, whether he's a take at QB or not. We never thought CBJ would take more than 30 last class, but he somehow managed to do so.

I'm thinking that CBJ may have told him, "Hey, we have to have some insurance (Dormady) in case you choose elsewhere...but that doesn't mean we can't bump someone if you do choose UT."

Unless Dormady really lights things up this fall, he could be that odd man out. I just cannot fathom how we could take 3 guys whom we've told will get a shot at QB...without one of them switching their commitment before NSD.

You would have been much better off if you just said you have absolutely no idea what the coaches have said or what they are thinking. At least that would be a credible post.
