"The love of Vol Nation," said Colbert on why he likes Tennessee. "I've been talking to another player here, TJ Rahming, he said he's probably going to go there. I've been talking to him and Preston Williams lately and he wants me to pull the plug."

Colbert said he likes what he's hearing in his conversations with current Tennessee commitment Williams.

"He said they are doing good things. They are getting new dorms, switching to Nike and some other stuff," Colbert offered.

Colbert said Auburn, Clemson, Florida State and Tennessee are sticking out to him right now with Auburn at the top because he's visited there. He added we would have visited Tennessee for the Vols' spring game but his high school prom is that day so he won't be making it.

No problem with being selfish as fan revenue keeps these games on.

So you'll stop watching the games and buying UT stuff because we changed to Nike? Sounds selfish to me. When it comes down to it, we will still be wearing orange white and gray. (and pink sometimes). If a "fan" wants to stop being a "fan" because they dont think we look pretty, thats fine by me.

I personally won't. I don't think Nike makes a good product, but tell me who does. I don't really care about uniforms either. They could wear full pink uniforms with rabbit ears on their helmets as long as we win.

Now taking away the atmosphere and pageantry of the game pisses me off.

Sorry, didnt mean to make it personal. Shouldve said "people" instead of "you'll". Ive never understood the traditionalist hating jersey changes. Its not like UT has had the same uniform since the beginning of time. They change all the time. Like you said, I dont care if they wear Mickey Mouse pajamas... as long as we win

Georgia officially offered him today.. colbert knew the offer was coming, but now that's it official it is a "game changer" for him.. grew up a dawg fan. he stated he should be visiting UGA on Monday..

Is there not a uga board you could hang out at where you could discuss uga recruits with other uga fans? I find it very odd that you choose to hang out on a Tennessee board and only post in threads where you feel good about a recruit picking uga. I just could not see myself hanging out on a bama board and sit back waiting to chime in when I get good news about a recruit and them possibly favoring the Vols. Strange IMO.
