"I'm told the four-star DB/LB from Griffin (Ga.) who has been committed to Auburn for months has been contacted by Tennessee following the dismissal of Auburn defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson earlier today. I'm also told that Colbert has interest in visiting Tennessee, but a potential trip wouldn't take place until after the dead period ends in mid-Jan. "

We get players to fall into our lap but not in places of extreme need (OT). Not complaining just find it ironic.

I have spoken with Fred White about this guy previously and he said the interest is real... One to keep an eye on

Is this kid the reason that Stephen Griffin is taking visits? Or does Griffin not like the idea of moving to OLB?

Both VQ and 247 said griffin taking visits is his choice and not staff related. we want him and sounds like he is just keeping lines open as backup plan

Everyone is curious on how the numbers will work out with us still recruiting so many high caliber recruits. The assumption is that a number of kids will be asked to look elsewhere. I think other coaches are getting in some of our commitments' heads using this information.

Going to be interesting. He has been solid for awhile but you never know with coaching changes. From what we are hearing the whole defensive staff may not be safe
