1. The coaches felt we could out score BG. Mosely wasn't going to get beat for 60 points.
2. We switched to matchup zone for most of the 2nd half after we were able to make adjustments.
3. We will open up the defensive playbook a lot more against OU
After we run the matchup zone, I highly recommend that we try a 2-2-1, or maybe a box and one.
Defensively, Justin Martin has impressed with his toughness and eagerness to battle back, sooner than later. Martin could easily have been out four to six weeks. He missed about three weeks of practice. His speed and athleticism give him a chance to impact; look for him to start on special teams units this weekend.

Our defense is fine, its the offense that stinks?? Our offense will determine our W-L record. Let me know when we can throw the ball down field, if we had just a little bit of a passing game we would go at least 10-2
After Week 1: the secondary and pass rush sucks how are we ever going to stop anyone? The offense looked dominant though putting up 600 yards of offense and 60 points.
After Week 2: the offense sucks how are we ever going to move the ball on anyone? The defense looked all world shutting down such a high powered attack.
I like Martin a lot at CB. Kid is very confident and aggressive. Moseley played his best game ever at Tennessee Saturday but it'll be hard to keep #8 off the field. He almost tipped the first TD to Perrine away. He's got the look of a natural playmaker. Competition at CB will elevate the play overall.![]()
