'15 JUCO CB Justin Martin (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Also the way Martin talked about the Vols via social networking made it seem as if he bled orange. With him looking around this late Id say the staff will exercise other options being that he isn't even guaranteed to make the grades in order to transfer.

Just the way it is with high profile recruits. Gonna be a battle. I respect his handling of this. But man.. That sucks.

Yea, I heard he's a silent to them already. But he's literally the only other guy on the radar. No way we take a chance on Brazil.

Um, wait what? Chavis is responsible for some of the best players that ever put on that orange and white jersey. His defense was always one of the best in the country.. So are you talkin about his later years? Because those late 90s and early 00 defenses were nothing to shake a stick at.

Fantastic coach but he was extremely lazy at recruiting during the a large part of his tenure here.

He was and still is a great coach, but was an indifferent recruiter. Its no coincidence that Fulmers downfall started with the departure of Garner and Ramsey, only to rebound when Trooper brought in better classes.

Developing...not recruiting... Commonplace knowledge. Possibly because CPF was so good at bringing them in, but the Chief didn't have a reputation as a recruiter until these last few years.

Exactly.

Probably not a starter at LSU next year. They started 2 sophomores I believe. They were good too. .

Jesus one piece of information and some people just give up.

Well the news that he "decommitted" and another team now leads is a pretty big deal considering the other CB spot was the weakness on this D. If this were a left tackle who could contribute next year, this board would be shi++ing a brick.

If Martin don't want to play on a NC team from his home state he should go to LSU.

I'm not trying to be that guy, but Martin is the type of guy that comes in and makes you a much better team. Until we can land these guys we will be no better than a 9-10 win team. The reason why? Because when we don't land them, our competition does. Martin is the type of guy you just got to land. LSU is loaded, and they are about to be even more loaded. Our CB and OT depth is a problem right now. No sugar coating it. We go all out on Richmond and Martin, both TN leans at one point, and both will end up with another SEC team...

Just 9-10? I'll take that right now. Gaulden is gonna nasty in the secondary.

I'll take 9 wins in 2015 and 10 in 2016 ALL DAY

Yes but Martin is the type of guy that starts and let's you play Gaulden and Moseley at the nickel and have depth. We don't grow NFL corners on trees like LSU does. We NEED these type of players.

You have no idea how he will look when
he gets to the SEC though. Hit the brakes. He may be an AA or he might not start. Moseley is not a nickel btw. He's on the outside from here on

So is this a silent decommit? We will see. Woody has been known to twist the truth with his brand of reporting.

This is true. Woody is about as troll-ish as an "insider" could be. He's wrong an awful lot. But I think he's probably not here.
