'15 JUCO CB Justin Martin (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Was Kelly starting over McNeil by the end of the season?

No I think McNeil eventually unseated Kelly. Though I don't see how you keep either off the field. Wish we could run 13 guys out there like Dooley did. We would be pretty good with 13 on the field.

I don't think Martin starts day 1. Is he more talented? Yes but he is still raw at corner. He will see the field but I don't know that he is a lock to beat out Moseley as soon as he steps on field like everyone makes him out to be. Mosely is pretty dang good too

I expect Kelly to take McNeil's spot this year. McNeil is a liability in pass coverage.

I agree with him being a liability in pass coverage and him or Randolph doesn't have ideal speed but TKjr was a liability at time because he was not in the right spot. McNeil has the clear advantage over Tkjr in that regard and McNeil actually played well last year

With another spring practice under his belt I fully anticipate TKjr starting over McNeil.

I always think of McNeil as being a 5.6 3* from the Dooley era, but he was actually one of the highest rated prospects Dooley ever signed. 86th rated player in the nation in 2012.

McNeil, IMO, is a good example of a player who has benefited from both the development under CBJ and the competition from quality players behind him.

I really like how he brings the pain in run support and think he will continue to improve his overall game. Nice to have that kind of depth for a change.

He is a good player. I don't know why some say the things they do about him. I can't see him not being a major contributor next year, imo.

Agree...I think Kelly is better but McNeil was a force at times last year.
