'15 JUCO CB Justin Martin (UT Signee 2/4/15)

I always think of McNeil as being a 5.6 3* from the Dooley era, but he was actually one of the highest rated prospects Dooley ever signed. 86th rated player in the nation in 2012.

Those damn 5.6's. Man, just the thought of them makes me uneasy.

"I'll just give you a little bit of a scenario," "We're going to a game in Cisco, Texas, We don't take planes, because they're expensive or whatever. "So we're driving down there and our offensive bus breaks down. So we're sitting on the side of the road for about three hours." "Then our (defensive) bus breaks down," Martin continued, "the air conditioning stops working. It was a horrible trip. "In the middle of the summer, too," "It really does make you appreciate it," Martin said. "JuCo's not easy," Martin said. "Man, you don't get the luxuries of a Division I. Most JuCos, for kids, are far away from home."

"It was a good time for my family," Martin said, describing the weekend as a "bonding" opportunity as a player already committed to the school, all the while continuing to work on adding other names to the class through peer recruiting. "My girlfriend's been trying to get me to commit (to Tennessee) for, like, a year now," Martin said. "So she was happy."

"I'm a really, really high self-motivator," he said. "I'm not hard to motivate. It's not hard for me to motivate myself." "I'm like a Richard Sherman type of corner," said Martin, who has Sherman's build, listed at 6-foot-2, 192 pounds. "I like to get in the receiver's head."

That was my thought

I have to look at this way. At this point in the recruiting process, One or two recruits who decide they want to play somewhere other than Tennessee, the recruiting class will still be one of the best classes in our History and our needs will still have been met. If a recruit does not really want to play for Tennessee, he should net sign with Tennessee. I hope Justin Martin wants to play for Tennessee and I believe he will be very successful if he does.

He was trolling Ole Miss fans last night making fun of their class, posting their ranking, and also tweeting Richmond.

Well I nearly had a heart attack until I read the responses to this about A & M. Are we feeling good here on Martin? Any worries?

1. Justin Martin will sign with Tennessee tomorrow. That's the bottom line of this post.

2. I can tell you that Martin really enjoyed his recent official visit to Texas A&M and the Aggies tried to do an in-home visit last week, but it didn't happen.

3. Justin went to Tennessee, had a great time, bonded with other recruits and played a role in the Vols landing Drew Richmond.

4. Always consider the source of rumors when they come from people with no connection to the player they are reporting about.
