Seems like some forget how RBs like Travis henry made a name for themselves. Injuries happen and you have to have the players to prepare for that. Long term, you don't want recruits who are afraid to compete.

Bussey may not see the field at A&M next year. 2 5* RBs + Tra Carson are all ahead of him. Besides, Sumlin does a terrible job of utilizing his RBs. I don't understand why any good RB would want to go there.

I spoke to a friend who is on the coaching staff this morning. He told me Richmond and Bussey were Vols. He does not expect that to change between now and when the ink dries.

I don't think so. I haven't seen that grades were an issue with him. Just the staff liking other options better IMO.

It does appear that the coaching staff likes Kelly over other highly rated backs (Vaughn, Lewis). Honestly I think that these two really weren't interested in UT because I don't see it either.

I was lucky enough to be on a flight out of Knoxville on Sunday afternoon and Kendall got onto my flight. I asked him if he had a good time on Rocky Top, he said "Yes", AND Then I told him how excited we would be to have him wearing Orange and White.

He smiled, thanked me for the support.

I had to snap his picture and then others around me asked who he was, i told them and several others said "Hope you come to UT".

I'm NOT trying to creep on recruits, but I do think that it's interesting that SOO many people around knoxville follow recruiting and know what's important, the lifeblood, of our future success is. players..

I left him alone on the flight and didn't bother him again, just wanted to show my support for him as a vol, so haters just Get off!
